By Train

You can travel by the TGV ( Train Grand Vitesse) from Waterloo to Poitiers (70 mins drive from us) in a little over 6 hours. Car hire is available from the station.

By Plane

You can fly from many main and regional airports in the UK direct to Limoges (about 45 mins drive) or Poitiers (about 70 mins drive from us) with Ryanair. Or alternatively fly to Paris and get a short internal flight from there to Limoges or Poitiers.

By Car

You can drive here with a short ferry crossing ( Dover to Calais or Boulogne ) in around 8 hours, or have a longer ferry trip (but shorter drive) by catching a ferry to Cherbourg, Caen or St Malo. These routes would leave you with a drive of less than 6 hours.

There are numerous cross channel ferry companies operating but we have found our visitors particularly like Speedferries for their efficiency and reasonable prices. They travel from Dover to Boulogne and the crossing takes less than one hour.
